Amanda Craig - Owner
Amanda is young and creative with up
to date knowledge; and loves to work outside the box. She
specializes in all aspects of hair. clipper cuts, formal updos,
styling, coloring, foiling, perms, waxing, and cuts She began her career in 2004. Amanda is
educated by Paul Mitchell Color. She also
specializes in Color, Highlights, Low Light, Block Color,
Haircuts, Clippercuts, Razorcuts, Waxing, and Perms. Amanda
and her family have been coming in the salon since 1984. She has always wanted to be a hairdresser. Amanda has
blossomed over the years to a fine young lady, very mature and
responsible, thanks to Angela and Randy her Mom and Dad.
Amanda is now the new owner of "The Hair House".

Pamela Doss
Mitchell
Pam has been associated with hair since she was 16 years old.
Her first hair cut was on her friend Betty Durham. It was a
pixie haircut the night before her wedding in 1968 and they are
still friends! As the founder of "The Hair House" Pam strives to keep up with the latest education, styles and techniques for her
clients. Pam's business has grown from a small hair salon, in 1984, to a thriving upscale salon and day spa with a staff of
15.
Pam recently turned ownership of the business over to Amanda Craig
but continues to serve her customers at The Hair House.

Betty Durham - Assistant
Operations Manager
Betty came to
us after a 37 year career with a leading financial planning company
where she spent the last 5 years as the Operations Manager.
She assist the owner, in areas of
marketing, buying, office management, sales and general operations.
Betty and Pam have been friends since junior high and she has the
distinct honor of being Pam's first customer!
Betty and Pam also have a boutique within the salon named in honor
of their Mom,
Bertha and June.
Betty is now doing
make-up application for weddings, formal affairs, pictures, etc. |

Kay Miller
Kay has been a hairstylist since 1978 and continues
to learn new techniques thru continuing education with John Paul
Mitchell classes and has had advanced training in color, color
correction, and cutting with Redken. Call Kay for styling,
cutting, clipper cuts, color highlights, foils, perms, and waxing.
Kay has been with the "Hair House" since 2000. |

Erin Kirby
Erin has been a stylist since 2000 and has been with us here at
the "Hair House" since 2004. She enjoys all aspects of her
profession. Erin is trained in highlighting, color with
multi-tonal colors, all in one process. Whether you are
looking for a "classy cut", a color or an "out of the box"
cut/color, Erin specializes in these areas. She is certified
in both Alterna and bio ionic's chemical straightening systems.

Carmen Perdue
Experienced and creative stylist who loves a challenge and keeps
ahead of the trends. Carmen has been in the hair care business for
over 38 years and was former owner of the His and Her Hair Shack. It
took a lot of convincing to get Carmen to make the move to the "Hair
House". Carmen joined the "Hair House" in 2000 and she has been quite
an asset. Call Carmen for hair cutting,
highlighting, color, waxing and styling. |

Nita Weikel Nationally Certified Massage Therapist
Nita successfully completed 18 months intensive training in massage methods,
techniques, ethics and practical training as well as study of
anatomy and function of the body, CPR, and First Aid. She
became certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork in August 2003. Nita joined the HairHouse staff
in January 2003.

Katherine Mackey
Katherine has been a hair designer since 2000. She has studied
in New York with Redken doing razor cuts and shadow coloring.
She attend the hair shows to keep up to date with the latest styles
and trends. She is proficient in color and color corrections,
highlights, foiling, clipper cuts, textures and razor cuts, point
cutting and perms. Specializing in curly hair, and offers
waxing (facial and bikini).

Jennifer Wood
Jennifer joined The Best Little Hair House in February 2009.
She is an experienced nail technician who has a passion for her
career. Jennifer always has a friendly smile and gives every
client her best. Her services range from a basic manicure to a
relaxing spa pedicure with a glass of wine. Jennifer's
services caters to men, women, and children. Her services
include manicures, pedicures, and gel sets, including pink and white
gels. |

Spradlin
Reba has been in the nail business since 1989. She
specializes in pink and white sculptured nails using top of the line

Morgan Sizemore
Morgan recently joined the "Hair House" team in 2009.
Morgan has been a stylist since 2006. Realizing her dreams
and goals in life, she started working in a small salon in Salem
when she was 15 years old. Morgan has been, and continues
to be educated with John Paul Mitchell to stay current and up to
date on any fashions and new techniques. Morgan can assist you
with Color, Foils, Block-Coloring, Brush Highlights, Perms,
Cuts, and Updos for formal occasions. Call Morgan for your

Leigh Ann Giles - Massage Therapist
Leigh Ann joined
the staff at the Best Little Hair House and Day Spa in Vinton in
2010. She wanted to complete her desire to be a massage
therapist by attending Daniel's Institute. She is now employed
at One Beacon Insurance Company in Salem, Virginia, as a
underwriting assistant since 1994. This has allowed her to work
nights and Saturdays and some holidays for the working clients.
Her hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, and
Saturday 9:00 AM until .... Her son, Joseph DeLaRocha attends
William Byrd High and they reside in Vinton, VA. Call her soon
for a night of well deserved time for you to de-stress! |

Tonya
Crouch - Hairdresser
Tonya has always loved to do hair, even as a young girl.
Her inspiration was sparked by her cousin, who is a
cosmetologist. Tonya began her training with 3 years of
Cosmetology at Bedford Science & Technology Center. She
obtained her license right our of high school and has 10 years
of experience. She loves her job, and it shows!
Tonya does a wide variety of men, women, and children's cuts,
there's nothing she won't try. Coloring, multi-dimensional
coloring, highlights/lowlights, block coloring, and corrective
color. Perms; short-long, or spiral. Up do, formals,
and facial waxing.

Amber Aker
Amber is our intern. She joined us in 2011. She goes to
William Byrd High School and is studying cosmetology at Burton.
She is our part time receptionist when she is not assisting our
owner, Amanda. We all welcome her to the Hair House. |

Cindy Morgan,
Certified Massage Therapist
Cindy graduated from Virginia school of massage and became
certified by the national certification board of therapeutic
massage and bodywork in 2005. Since then, she has continued to
seek out new techniques to best serve her clients. She has
focused her studies on hot stone, deep tissue, and homi lomi a
(Hawaiian massage). She went to Hawaii twice to learn this
service. She also offers Swedish and myofascial massage and
tailors each massage to best fit each client. Cindy is a member
of the associated bodywork and massage professionals. She has
been coming to the Best Little Hair House and Day Spa since 2000
and joined our team in January 2012. We are pleased to have
Cindy join the team at the Hair House. |

Jean Jenkins
Jean has been a
client of Pam Mitchell since 1984. She joined our team in
2011 as an assistant to Pam and helps other hairdressers if they
need assisting too. Welcome Jean!
